Meet George Variames

I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. I completed a major part of my musical education at the American Conservatory of Music, where I studied piano with Audrey Evans and voice with Wilma Osheim.
In 1997, I opened my studio and have been teaching piano and voice in my home for over 22 years. I have been an accompanist for many schools and accompany many students for various activities, including solo and ensemble. I have taught Piano Pedagogy as adjunct faculty at Collin College, as well as Class Piano at A & M while I completed my Masters.
I currently have a studio of approximately 70 students, and perform throughout the year with many of my students. I have also been on the cover of the "Allen Image", and my students have won numerous local, state, National and International competitions. They have performed in prestigious venues, including the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, in New York, as well as competing on "The Voice" and "American Idol".
